"Mashatu was the highlight off our Southern African trip, one off the kids even said, "if I come again then I start with Mashatu and want to see more of Botswana , it is such a beautiful country and the people are so very kind. Thank you all and Richard in special for a memorable stay at Mashatu with our children"

"We appreciated our stay immensely and will keep numerous unforgettable bright, thrilling and fun memories in our minds forever. The rangers - Richard and Bashi - with their trackers as well as all other staff members of both camps were top quality, both professionally and socially. We thank you of all our hearts and hope it will not be long before we get another chance to visit you again and then, hopefully, also get an opportunity to see a bit more of Botswana."

"Mashatu tent camp was the fourth camp we visited in two trips to Africa. We picked Mashatu because we felt it offered a more intimate and personal approach. We weren't disappointed and after five nights we got to know the staff well. Jakes our guide even delivered on our one major request-"an impala in a tree". "

"Thought I would share with you some of the photos I took while in your camp with my students March 26 to 29, 2007. Everyone had a fabulous time and would highly recommend your camp. Our guides were terrific and made every drive exciting. I have been to Southern Africa 3 times and this was by far my best experience. The kitchen staff made fabulous meals and even met our dietary restrictions. I wish to return soon. Your camp was the highlight of our trip. Thank you to all."

This was our second trip in 2006 and what a difference it was from the green and lush time in February to the dry in November. Thank you Bashi for showing us again part of your wonderful country. We shall not forget the lions chasing the Baboons and best of all on our last game drive the 2 lion cubs. We hope to return to Mashatu again."

"My husband George and I met thirty years ago
on a safari in Kruger National Park. For our anniversary,
we decided to return to Africa, and we fell in love with its
beauty and mystique all over again. Our week at Mashatu Tent
camp was all we had dreamed of - and more. The staff, and
particularly our ranger, Jakes, were just wonderful, accommodating
all of our needs. Both George and I were sad to leave,
and we've vowed to come back as soon as we can. First,
we'd like to give our children the opportunity to experience
the excitement and the wonder that is Africa."

"This was my fourth trip to Mashatu
in as many years, and as on previous trips, I thoroughly enjoyed my stay. Since
my first trip in 2002, Tent Camp has become a must-visit place for me on each
trip to southern
Africa. The rangers and
trackers are absolutely top-notch, and my animal sightings have been excellent. On
this trip, it seemed like it was raining spotted cats – every drive produced
either a cheetah or leopard sighting. This is perfect for me, as cheetahs
are my absolutely favorite animal!!!"

I was lucky enough to return
to Mashatu main camp for a second time this year. Once
again I had an incredible time at Mashatu. Of course
it was very sad to see that bad drought and the suffering
animals. But after all I had some unforgettable days
and I hope to return as soon as possible to that place
and to all the people (and to the animals of course)
I love so much!"

Mashata were amazing, wonderful… We would like come back. The people were
so friendly. To see the animals so near was so amazing. And the landscape is
so different. It was a fantastic time in the camp. Unforgettable. We would like
to say a special thank you to Dicks (our Ranger) and Odin (our Spotter). We hope
to see you again."
