I did a Certificate in Hotel and Catering at the Gaborone Institute of Professional Studies and also went for a short course in cookery techniques at Gaborone Technical College. I started my career as a cook at Gaborone Sun International then I was promoted to become a kitchen supervisor. Since then I have worked in several restaurants, including Mokolodi [Nature Reserve] where I worked as chef and a kitchen supervisor. In 2007 Debswana Mining Company in Jwaneng employed me as kitchen supervisor. Working for Mashatu is a new experience for me and it is great for me to meet people from all over the world.
