I started my career as an environmental educator in Mokolodi Nature Reserve and later acquired my professional guide's license and headed north where I worked briefly for Okavango Wilderness Safaris. The brief spell with OWS was due to the fact that I was selected for year 's program with Disney. When I came back in 2004 I wanted to do something different, but still within the tourism sector and chose the mobile camping safaris with Bushways. I got a job with Mashatu in 2005 as a ranger and worked my way up to the position that I now hold with pride.

I did a Certificate in Hotel and Catering at the Gaborone Institute of Professional Studies and also went for a short course in cookery techniques at Gaborone Technical College. I started my career as a cook at Gaborone Sun International then I was promoted to become a kitchen supervisor. Since then I have worked in several restaurants, including Mokolodi [Nature Reserve] where I worked as chef and a kitchen supervisor. In 2007 Debswana Mining Company in Jwaneng employed me as kitchen supervisor. Working for Mashatu is a new experience for me and it is great for me to meet people from all over the world.

I started working in Mashatu Main Camp as a Bar lady in 2002. I was promoted to Head Bar lady in 2003. I joined the Front Office and Admin Team, and also performed housekeeping duties in 2005. I am now based at Tent camp as the Relief Manager. I enjoy meeting with people from all over the world.
